A brief description about the institution

Amala Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS ) named after Blessed Mary Immaculate, is a minority Christian Institution which was established in 1003. It is a project of Amala Cancer Hospital Society promoted by the Devamatha Province of CMI Congregation, Thrissur. Amala Cancer Hospital was inaugurated in 1978. Amala Complex is now home to a 1000 bed hospital, Medical College, Nursing College, Research Centre, Ayurveda Hospital, Homeopathic Hospital and Nursing School.
